Biographies
Tessa Schrack

Cellist Tessa Schrack has been involved in the performing arts since she was a child, studying cello, piano, voice, acting, and dancing. She has earned a Bachelor’s of Music degree from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and a Master’s of Music degree at the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Her principal cello teachers include Jurgen de Lemos, Jean-Michel Fonteneau, and Terry King. With a strong passion for teaching, Tessa has received extensive training in the subject through the Longy School of Music’s Emphasis on String Pedagogy degree program, training in the Suzuki school of teaching, and through several years of teaching experience. With a strong interest in modern music, she has performed many contemporary works and has premiered works by several up and coming young composers. Tessa is also interested in music outside of the classical realm such as jazz, hip-hop and rock, and enjoys composition and improvisation.
Peter Stuart
Peter Stuart earned a Bachelor's of Music degree from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Canada where he studied with Paul Pulford. He recently finished a Master of Music degree at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, studying with Jean-Michel Fonteneau. Peter has also attended Domaine Forget and the Tafelmusik Baroque Summer Institute. He has been a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Canada, the National Academy Orchestra of Canada and, most recently, the BASOTI orchestra. Peter can be heard on the album Life with the Machines by Red Orkestra.
Peter is also the founder of Electric Peel Software, which makes Mac software for musicians.
